2021
2021 was a period of both research and growth. Test-dates allowed us to collect unwanted waste from sample groups in Michigan communities; but with that e-waste came incredible feedback. The feedback was used to expand and hone our collection program in the 2022 season.
Hours of research went into finding a sustainable, environmentally sound methods of extracting and refining precious metals from electronic waste, and what options exsisted for the biproducts- the lesser metals and plastics.
2022
In 2022, we focused on extending the free collection drop-off events to a wider region of Michigan- now ranging from Lansing to Flint, From Montrose to Ortonville, and several small communities inbetween. The results were astounding. Incredibly positive vibes came from mid Michigan communities, reiterating to us that the need for our program existed.
As a result of a bit of need, for lack of warehousing, we began sorting and milling our plastics, which quickly gave back some warehouse space. Further research went into future plans for plastic use.
In the closing of 2022, plans were made for the filing of a trademark, a plan for a future product expected to produce both additional revenue and yet more jobs for Michiganders.
Plastic Granulation Framework 100%
Public Drop-Off Event expansion 35%
Locate Real Estate for Permanent Refinery and Plastics Processing 100%
Generate Funds to Obtain New Additional Location: 3%
2023
The plans for 2023 include continued collection events and expanding our reach.
Beyond that, we intend to continue growing funds to obtain the new location, located in Owosso, Michigan. This location will allow for more toll milling, as well as the beginning stages of refining metals. The new facility should create up to 15 new jobs immediately.
2024
By mid 2024 we expect to be not only toll producing extruded plastic sheet, but also taking contracts for per-peice production of injected or thermoformed plastic products. This may create as few as 5 but as many as 25 additional jobs.
We also expect by this time that our metals capacity will have expanded into casting, serialization, certification, producing additional jobs.
