Residential Curbside Recycling — Service Transition
After nearly three years serving Owosso and surrounding communities, Michigan Ewaste has announced that its residential curbside recycling program will be coming to an end. Service will continue for existing customers while we determine an appropriate transition plan.
We are no longer accepting new residential curbside customers.
Existing customers will receive written notification as decisions are made concerning service dates, billing, and any applicable prepaid balances.
Electronics recycling and responsible IT asset disposition remain our primary services. We will continue providing electronics recycling, secure data destruction, IT asset disposition, and related services.
We are evaluating a separate cardboard-only initiative for local businesses and a potential drop-off option for Shiawassee County residents. It is still in the planning stage and is not accepting paid subscriptions.
These payment options are retained for established residential customer accounts only. They are not an invitation to begin new service.
